Expanding Personal Injury Law Firm is looking to recruit a claim assessor to join our Claims Team. The role will involve assessing and vetting claims and producing reports and recommendations as to the viability of potential cases after preparing research to support claims. You will also be required to negotiate costs, liaise with insurance companies, third parties and other agencies and obtain instructions from clients. The role will involve assisting fee earners with the progression of personal injury matters and chasing agreed payments from the defendants. Good communication, telephone, organisational and IT skills are essential. Progression from this role within the firm is encouraged as it provides a good grounding in all aspects of personal injury claims. There is genuine potential for progress within the firm to Assistant Fee Earners, Fee Earners and Trainee Solicitors. A Law Degree is preferred but not essential.
